It has been a very busy week onsite with many design elements now coming to life and now becoming fully realised. Be sure to follow us on social media for daily updates and to see what is happening on-site.

The full effect of the incredible epoxy resin flooring and stucco walls is now becoming  fully apparent in the downstairs open plan living, dining and kitchen spaces. This space was previously 4 closed in, dark rooms and now is feeling light and bright thanks to the white colour palette and introduction of windows and skylights.

The living brass hardware from Sussex Taps has been installed in the bathrooms, adding some texture to this space. Over time these fittings will change and patina, adding a softer touch to the overall bathroom spaces. The taps are beautifully showcased by the stunning CDesign sink from Omvivo and the addition of a matching brass pop-up waste from Reece.

The pool started really taking shape this week with the installation of the pool paving. We are loving the look of the tumbled Crema Luminous Limestone pavers from Marble and Ceramic Corp but the final effect will be more visible once the interior pool mosaic tiles are installed soon. These mosaics are a stunning deep blue/green tone which resembles the Mediterranean sea. Combined with the decking which surrounds the pool, and the adjacent limestone on the patio this space will be the ultimate alfresco retreat – stay tuned as it develops by following us on social media.

It may not look overly exciting just yet, but the kitchen is going to be one of the most incredible that the design team have ever completed. The carcases being installed is only the first step, and you can already see some of the features in this chef style kitchen. Within the high cabinets, there is a slotted space for cooking trays and racks to keep them easily accessible and organised. The kitchen island also has plenty of enviable storage for both appliances and for cooking and serving ware.  The most impressive element by far is the sheer size of the feature wall which will soon be clad in solid timber.

The next step is for the drawer and door fronts to be installed with their beautiful custom brass handles from AuHaus, along with that stunning wall of American Black Walnut which will cover the black internal carcases and enclose the pantry, Fisher and Paykel double ovens, microwave, coffee maker and built in fridge. Following this the countertops will go in, we are using a thin profile of Caesarstone along the joinery under the window in Pure White which will offset the large and thick piece of leathered Super Granite from Marable which will atop the kitchen island.  Polar White Fraganite sinks by Franke from REECE, a Scala Gooseneck Mixer customised in Matt White from Sussex Taps and a Billi Quadra Sparkling in Matt White – brand new to the market (!!) will create a beautiful play on white on white.
