MEET OUR DESIGN TEAM

Are you a coffee or tea gal??
A bit of both! Always start my day with a strong coffee, but find myself drinking multiple cups of tea in the afternoon. I’m partial to a great Almond Chai too!
Are you a homebody or a wanderer?
Anybody who knows me will tell you I’m a homebody. Home should be my middle name.
Where did you grow up and tell us your favourite things about the area?
I grew up on the north west coast of Tasmania in Devonport and Burnie. Both are coastal towns so a love of the coast is in my blood. Growing up I may not have acknowledged some things as positive – as you often don’t – but coming back now as an adult I really love the simplicity and slower pace of life in Tassie and find myself yearning for that in my day to day life in Sydney.  Plus the sheer beauty and changing scenery is always breathtaking.
What piece of designer furniture do you covet?
ALWAYS the Ligne Roset Togo. I really need to sort out my priorities and save for one! Or two!
What everyday item can’t you live without?
A great set of Kitchen knives – sounds silly but I love to cook and bad knives drive me crazy!!
Where in the world do you dream of living?
Byron Bay. Every day I dream of it. There’s something about that place that steals a piece of my soul every time I’m there.
What’s your all time career favourite project you’ve worked on?
Would have to be our Bronte House project – I loved all of the hand made elements and detail in that house.

Are you a coffee or tea gal??
After realising I don’t achieve anything after drinking coffee I’m an avid tea fan starting with an almond chai for breakfast (thats enough caffeine for me) and then herbal teas from here on. Sleepy time tea and anything with mint are my favourites.
Are you a homebody or a wanderer?
My home is my sanctuary and where I rest and reset however I crave adventure and experiencing new places. We’ve recently come across vanlife whereby I can create our bedroom in the back of the van and travel wherever we please so its the perfect combination!
Where did you grow up and tell us your favourite things about the area?
I grew up in a small town, Tinonee, just outside of Taree. We grew up on 5 hectares overlooking the river which meant we were always outside on adventures and when we weren’t by the river we were by the beach which was close by. Because of this I now can’t survive a day without seeing or touching natural water. Being a small town we were surrounded by our friends and literally backed on to 3 of my closest friends which is all a kid can dream of. Life is simple there which I really appreciate now I’m older and love going home to get away from the intensity of Sydney.
What piece of designer furniture do you covet?
Too many to choose one! A set of No.811 Hoffman Thonet dining chairs in natural have always been on my lust list.
What everyday item can’t you love without?
A good nights sleep is so important to me so I’d have to say our bed which we’ve customised with an egg shell foam and a feather based topper. Add layers of linen bedding and its literally like sleeping on a cloud.
Where in the world do you dream of living?
I lived in Milan for 2 years for study and would love to live back there again. Its a place that embraces all the senses and its so natural I feel like I must have lived there in a past life. Somewhere in Tuscany on one of the lakes would be perfect and I’d spend my time eating, drinking, growing vegetables and watching life pass by in the piazza. Ahhhhh!
What’s your all time career favourite project you’ve worked on?
One of my very first projects which was a private boathouse on Scotland Island. It was a luxe entertaining space for the client which when closed up looked like an unassuming box but when open it was the perfect space to dine, fish, relax and entertain. It’s a favourite because I loved the design but I also learnt how to think creatively, push myself, see it come to life and learn CAD!

Are you a coffee or tea gal??
Coffee runs through my veins!
Are you a homebody or a wanderer?
If I can sit at home for 5 minutes it would be a dream…
Where did you grow up and tell us your favourite things about the area?
Born and raised in the UK – most fond memories would be with family around grandad’s freezing swimming pool, before the family packed up and moved to South West Sydney, where we spent most weekends in our boiling hot swimming pool.
What piece of designer furniture do you covet?
I’m a huge Saarinen supporter, my family home will comprise of a 96” Oval Tulip table with at least 8 matching tulip chairs
What everyday item can’t you love without?
Can’t live without my headphones, constant beats are essential to getting the job done!
Where in the world do you dream of living?
NSW South Coast cliff top….. ahhhh yes please
What’s your all time career favourite project you’ve worked on?
Not an easy decision! But I must admit, a very eccentric Client who shared my love of black is a favourite…Imagine Ralph Lauren Black Velvet with gold embroidery… everywhere, it was fabulous!

Are you a coffee or tea gal??
Definately a tea gal through and through! I can’t start the day without a good cup of English breakfast!
Are you a homebody or a wanderer?
A homebody, I love spending time at home, I’m forever rearranging my spaces to find the perfect balance of comfort & style…
Where did you grow up and tell us your favourite things about the area?
I grew up in the Southern Highlands on a farm just outside of Moss Vale. One of the best parts of home is that there is no reception, so it’s like a mini break from life, everything goes on hold. It has amazing shops & cafes and I love the beautiful weather particularly in Autumn when all of the trees turn into vibrant yellows, oranges and reds.
What piece of designer furniture do you covet?
The Shell Chair by Wegner.
What everyday item can’t you love without?
A good mug, this goes back to my love for tea but I love the feel of a hot cup of tea in a beautiful ceramic mug!
Where in the world do you dream of living?
The Southern Highlands, I know it is where I grew up but I just love the lifestyle and would love to have my own veggie patch and garden.
What’s your all time career favourite project you’ve worked on?
I would have to say my Mosman project, through a few minor changes we managed to transform the space.
