The Paddington House was a project that The Design Hunter worked on with B2 Construction during 2010-11. It was an end to end project involving renovation and interior design, planning and approvals processing, building project management, and finally assistance with interior decoration of the clients new home.

“My wife and I engaged Melissa in November 2010 to assist with the design, development application, and renovation of our Paddington terrace. For most of this process we were living in Hong Kong, and therefore heavily reliant on Melissa to ensure all aspects of the project went smoothly. Melissa did a wonderful job in this respect. Her focus on client service, strong communication skills, and attention to detail were evident early in the process.

Perhaps more impressively however was her ability to quickly grasp our style, and incorporate this into the plans. These fine attributes provided us with the comfort we needed living outside Australia.

There were numerous hurdles throughout this time which were stressful for my wife and I; throughout however Melissa maintained a very positive attitude, and was always available, day or night, to discuss any aspect of the project. I firmly believe this went beyond a normal designer-client relationship, and was very much appreciated by us both.
